I saw Rick the summer of 1977 when the live album containing this song was released. The concert was in Hollywood, Florida and the other band on the bill was Blue Oyster Cult. It was a killer show!

Speaking of BOC ; a band that was hardly heard of in the Netherlands. However I had a LP of the band and my friends looked very surprised, when they heard them playing for the first time. Nowadays I keep a little distance of that LP, probably I’m older, a bit deaf and more for the soft things in life 🙂 🙂
By the way, I had a big laugh about Monty Python…. beautiful. Should/Would it go like this with us, older men??

Thanks for the comment, I’m glad you enjoyed the Monty Python clip. That has always been a favorite of mine and the older I get the funnier it seems.
I also find myself leaning toward softer, more introspective, music as I get older but…..there are time when I just have to rock out no matter how silly it looks for an old man to be doing it 🙂
