It was 35 years ago but I can remember as if it was yesterday. I had just gotten my first apartment, it was Saturday morning, American Bandstand was on my TV, and I was sitting in my beanbag chair in my otherwise empty living room. Dick Clark introduced a band called The Babys and I was totally captivated. The band was great but the lead singer, John Waite, was amazing. I have followed him as a huge fan since that day and his voice is still the best I have ever heard. After The Babys broke up, he went solo and continues to this day an active recording and performing act. In the 1980s he formed a supergroup called Bad English which recorded a couple of excellent albums. Between The Babys, Bad English, and his solo work he has an amazing back catalog and I hope you will take some time and check it out. I think you will like it. Let me know what you think.
