I’m flabbergasted by the video of Gordon Lightfoot and I’m asking myself “what is it, that makes music from Gordon Lightfoot so beautiful and why do I (like you I suppose) also like some music from Emerson, Lake & Palmer and other bands?
Is it the music itself or the temperament/rhythm or is it the lyrics………??
While I’m enjoying your blog very much, at regular moments I ask myself what is the joy of it.
In the beginning(when I was in my teens) it was the music and the rhythm, nowadays the lyrics are also important…….. is it my age that makes me change?
